Wrangel Tower is one of the old fortress towers in the historic defence ring that surrounded Königsberg from the construction period in the mid 19th century.
The tower is erected 1853 and named after German field marshal Heinrich Wrangel. In 1928 it was decommissioned and has since then had other than military purposes. Today one can enjoy a beer or a cup of coffee in the café on the spot.
