The Kaliningrad Region Philharmonic Orchestra has its venue in one of the former catholic churches of Königsberg. Until the end of World War II the name was Catholic Church of the Holy Family, nowadays the church name is Кирха Святого Семейства.

The church was built in the years 1904-1907 by Friedrich Heitmann. The church design is a hall church with three naves. The construction came through the battles of World War II relatively unharmed and it hosted for a time a military hospital of The Red Army. I 1980 it was changed into the present concert hall.
