King’s Gate is probably the most beautiful of the old city gates from the Königsberg time. The gate was built 1848 and it has undergone a major restoration to former glory in 2005.

King’s Gate has decorative sculptures of king Ottokar II, king Friedrich I and duke Albrecht on its façade. Today to gate hosts a museum.
